Growth of “made in Italy” export

In the first six months of 2017 “Made in Italy” grew up and operated a historic passing against French products: the “Belpaese” entered the top ten in the supplier countries of the US market, peaking at nr 9, with a market share of 2.1%.

According to American import data, from January to June 2017, published by the United States Department of Commerce marks a growth of 7.2% compared to the first half of 2016. Positive performance also for the European Union which sees + 8.4%, largely to Ireland (+16%) and Italy (+ 6.7%). In terms of numbers the fashion and accessories sector grew (3.74 billion). In summary, the positive trend of the first half of 2017 reassuring signals for the tricolor export seems to be in United States for the next few years.
