Winter, the January edition of the National Jewellery Expo, confirms once again the point for the gold and silver sector for sale on sampling and cash and carry. Palakiss, the business & exhibition center in Vicenza closed its first event of the year, getting stronger the positive trend of the 2017 Edition.

At Winter traders and buyers from Europe and from all over the world
At the Palakiss fairgrounds in Vicenza, from 19 to 24 January 2018, they met traders and buyers, wholesalers, retailers, import-export, chain stores and designers, from all over Europe, particularly Spain, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Greece, UK and France; arrivals also were registered buyers from South America, Australia, Chinese, and one even from the Fiji islands.
90 participating companies exposed to Palakiss, more than 50% are from Arezzo. Attending the fair also foreign companies from Turkey, Thailand, Hong Kong, Poland.

“We are satisfied because Winter ended yesterday with data in line with the edition 2017, with approximately 8,000 visitors”, said Andrea Marcon, CEO of Palakiss. “We received positive feedback from operators about the dates of our second date of the year Spring – which it will be held from 7th to 9th April – that from one side falls after the important fair Baselworld but it also anticipates the major international fairs. In the Spring expo, the players will have the opportunity to gather suggestions for the construction of new lines to be proposed in September. It has been already confirmed the participation of more than eighty foreign buyers from Middle Eastern and South American regions, in particular from Panama, Venezuela and Brazil“.

The Winter edition of this year, focus on contemporary design with the new “D-Space: innovative and creation in jewellery design” dedicated to five designers, five talents, who presented their collections: Debra Gioielli, Cristina Fava, Illa VeneziaJewelry, Pietro Pasqualetto and Honey Gold.

The innovative services of Palakiss
Palakiss also focuses on a series of innovative services in marketing, promotion and communication: the historical “Vicenza Jewellery” magazine, the Geo referencing “Geo Dem” in the target markets, the group participations in foreign trade fairs, the “Real Time Fair On Air” project which presents the preview collections directly on the event’s YouTube channel.
Also highlights the Jewelry Virtual Fair project, the first business social network dedicated to the jewelry industry, which now has 2,500 companies already partners from 115 countries and 50,000 annual visits.
