The most dazzling trade show hosted buyers from 134 countries

IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show, one of the five largest jewelry fairs in the world, has ended. Showcasing the latest collections of 1,000 brands and companies from 14 different countries, the fair made a great contribution to the sectoral trade. IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show’s October show, which attracted 34 percent of foreign buyers, was visited mostly by Iran, Egypt, Algeria, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Russia, India, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tunisia, Iraq, United States, Romania, Libya, Kazakhstan, Palestine, Germany, Italy, Morocco and Bulgaria. The 2025 meeting of the fair, which hosts the jewelry world twice a year in Istanbul, will be held on April 16-19, 2025. 

Organized by Informa Markets under the sponsorship of Elmas Kule and sponsored by HRD Antwerp as the Buyers’ Lounge, the 56. IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show attracted 20,831 buyers from 134 countries for four days. Stating that they have offered unique trade opportunities to exhibiting companies and industry professionals at each fair since 1986, IJS Founding Partner Şermin Cengiz said, “We have held another complete and seamless fair. Despite the political problems experienced in neighboring countries and the global economic slowdown, I believe that we have created an important trade and cooperation platform for the exhibiting companies and industry professionals from all over the world.” Emphasizing that 1,000 exhibiting brands and companies from 14 countries opened stands at the October fair of the IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show, Cengiz said that they have started preparations for the April fair, the first meeting of 2025 in İstanbul, without a break. 

Trendy products that will adorn jewelry showcases were showcased for the first time at the fair

The 2025 designs that will adorn the showcases of jewelry stores were presented to the sector for the first time at the 56. IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show. Many of the exhibiting brands exhibited their collections specially prepared for the fair at their stands and introduced their newest and most eye-catching designs to IJS visitors. The fair, which drew attention with its rich product variety, featured thousands of products from gold jewelry to diamonds, from diamonds to emeralds, silver and pearls. In the IJS Tech section of the fair, where Jewelry Machinery, Equipment and Technologies are located, all machinery, tools, equipment, molds, safes and security equipment, software, mounting, display accessories and packaging products related to jewelry were exhibited together.

During the October edition of IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show, events were organized to inspire jewelers. WGSN, the world’s number one trend-forecasting company, presented its trend report specially prepared for IJS, which will inspire the 2025 collections of jewelry manufacturers. The “Art for Jewellery: Inspiration Hub”, which was organized jointly by IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show and the Jewellery Exporters’ Association and made valuable contributions to art and artists in the field of jewellery, attracted great interest from visitors.
