AMBERIF is the largest jewellery trade fair in Poland and one of the largest in Europe, as well as the world’s most significant event dedicated to the promotion of the Baltic Sea’s gold – amber. It is held twice a year – in spring and on the cusp of autumn. While the March edition offers a more business oriented format, everyone who values good design and quality in jewellery is welcome at AMBERIF Autumn, as it is open to public. The Fair’s rich variety of products includes the finest quality amber, silver and gold jewellery.
In the Designers Gallery individual artists will be presenting their unique collections of jewellery, while debutants will be showcasing their works in the Star-Up Zone. Once again, the Fair will feature the Art Zone, with a special exhibition of photography and ethnic jewellery from the collection of Maria Magdalena Kwiatkiewicz, as well as displays of the latest artworks by Jolanta Gazda, Marcin Tymiński and STFZ. For those keen on new technologies, there will be an interactive, multimedia exhibit titled ‘Tresure box of the future / Kapsuła przyszlości’, set in the modern, scenography of a mobile maritime display container.
New to the upcoming edition of the Fair is the Vintage Zone, aimed towards collectors and enthusiast of rare vintage jewellery. The organisers address the growing awareness among consumers and their pursuit not only of beauty, but also of lasting value and history.
The Fair hosts nearly 130 exhibitors, however there is plenty more. Visitors can take a look at how professionals treat amber, as well as try out a hands-on amber polishing workshop and craft their own amber jewellery.
